Red Bell Pepper Ancho Chili Jam
The crew at Earth and Vine have outdone themselves with their version of pepper jelly - Red Bell Pepper Ancho Chili Jam. The ancho chilies add another spice layer to this sweet and spicy jam. You can simply top cream cheese with the jam, or if you get creative you can make one of my favorites, a cheese torte:
Red Bell Pepper Ancho Chili Jam Cheese Torte
4 Cups White Cheddar Cheese, grated
1/2 Large Red Onion, finely chopped
1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
1 Jar Earth and Vine Red Pepper and Ancho Chili Jam
Mix together cheese, onion, and mayonnaise. Spray a 6-inch springform pan (I personally use two 4 inch springform pans), with non-stick spray. Spoon the cheese mixture into the springform pans and pour the Red Bell Pepper Ancho Chili Jam over the mixture. Refrigerate overnight. Place the springform pan on a serving dish and remove springform just before serving. Chopped walnuts can be added as garnish if you wish. Serve with bagel chips or crackers. Enjoy!
